Not sure what to do this weekend? This Saturday, September 27th, is Museum Day 2008 at participating Smithsonian museums. Locate a museum and download an admission card (good for two free admissions) to get in on this great offer.
I had grand plans to take the kids to the San Diego Air and Space [...]

Too Much Corn

Megan’s Travels with Stoney journal. Not bad for a seven year old. I love getting a glimpse into Megan’s head - unfortunately this is the one and only entry that Megan made during her five day cross-country road trip with dad.

What We Did In San Diego (pictures included)

It’s true that Adam was working and I was house hunting but we did manage to fit in a lot of fun things too.
The Beach. We went to the beach on several occasions. It is one of our favorite things to do as a family. The last time Megan and Paul were at [...]

Extraordinary Desserts

As if the children weren’t already convinced that San Diego is going to be a great place to live, Adam sealed the deal on Sunday night. Published by Lonely Planet, the book is a compilation of essays documenting travel adventures gone wrong. Imagine the worst possible travel scenarios accompanied by a great sense of humor (at least in hindsight) [...]

A couple weeks ago I did something very uncharacteristic of me… I signed up on a blog (that I had never read before) to participate in a travel swap. I’ve noticed that many blogs host swaps - book swaps, craft swaps, Christmas ornament swaps and even a Valentines Day Goody Swap but this [...]
