My aunt was the one who gave the same idea...only instead of storing toys & knick-knacks, we store winter hats & gloves w/ the little kids' on the bottom & so on & so forth. It's a great way to keep all those gloves, scarves & hats organized. Not that you would need that in San Diego, but it works for us. :) Great idea!
