O How I Love Your Ornaments

Our Christmas tree has been up since the weekend before Thanksgiving (Adam was out of town that week so I figured, “why not?”.)  What I love most about our tree are the ornaments.  With just a few exceptions, all the ornaments we own are gifts from my mother-in-law Barbara.  Every year each family member receives a new ornament.  Adam has an ornament for every year of his life including the year before his birth.  Many of the ornaments are handmade like this cute little felt stocking filled with a teddy bear and candy cane.  As we decorate our tree each Christmas, we create new memories and remember the old.
