Wednesday is field trip day for (almost) the entire family. Paul’s kindergarten class is going to the San Diego Zoo. It will be an exciting day of firsts for him. First field trip and first ride on a school bus.
Megan and her second grade class are headed to Torrey Pines State Natural Reserve. They will be on the lookout for interesting rocks and fossils as they explore the beautiful hiking trails.
Adam is waking up in the wee hours of the morning to drive to the L.A. area for a San Diego tweet-up event. He is pursuing his childhood dream of spinning the big wheel on The Price Is Right. Adam ordered a special t-shirt (it’s top secret until the show) and thanks to DVR, his evenings have been spent in front of the television brushing up on the game. If confidence alone guaranteed a win, the showcase would already be his! Of course there is no guarantee that he’ll even be picked as a contestant but it is fun to think about. Yes, I’m jealous (I’ll be at work).
