Cute! A bit scary, actually. Which is, I suppose, the idea?
So, did you just cut the bread off after toasting them? I think mine would look very disfigured if I tried this…I tend to be a clumsy cook.
Amy, I cut the face out of the bread before grilling it (it’s just a grilled cheese sandwich). No need for perfection. As Tracey said (above), even if the faces are a bit scary, they fit in with the Halloween theme!
