Boredom Busters: D.I.Y. Halloween

by Kristen McLane on October 18, 2008

With Halloween just two weeks away chances are great that your weekend plans include completing (or in my case – getting started on) a Halloween project. Megan and I will be working on her cactus costume. Lately I’ve been admiring the great ideas over at Craftzine.

This one cracks me up. (Step by step instructions can be found at Instructables.)

Or how about this Headless Horseman Lab (I can’t say that Stoney would go for it…)

There are tons of seriously cute and practical ideas too which are not limited to costumes. Have I mentioned that I’m missing “fall” here in San Diego? (Just thought I’d mention it again.) I’ll just have to get into the spirit by making paper pumpkin ornaments. Aren’t they cute?

I love all your creative (& crafty) ideas. I can’t wait for the girls to come home so we can try the pumpkin ornaments….fun, fun, fun.

I”m going to do the pumpkin ornaments with Ally and with a lot of help Evan. Thanks, for the idea.
