Children’s Book Giveaway: Welcome to Your World, Baby
When you are expecting your second child (or third or fourth…) you wonder how the older sibling will adjust. I remember one of my friends telling me how much her daughter loved taking care of their new baby - her exact words were “little mommy.” Just last night a friend remarked how well Megan and Paul played together. They have their moments but I’m happy to say that they are more than just sister and brother…they are friends.
I hate to put a damper on my proud mama moment but the truth is that I can recall more than one occasion after Paul was born of my then two year old daughter jealously screaming “I want my mommy!” All while I would be standing right next to her. She was especially fond of doing this in public places like the super market. I was afraid that someone would think that I’d kidnapped her!

We are expecting #2 in March, and though J isn’t going to be old enough to really understand the important role that he’ll have as the big brother, I think this book would be a wonderfult ool to help us get ready.
