Last night I attended a Fall Carnival planning meeting at the kid’s school. Before I could attend the meeting I had one small hurdle to jump. The meeting was also a potluck. I love potlucks but I didn’t want to make an extra trip to the store. I had most of the ingredients in my fridge to make Tortilla Rollups – I had tortillas and cream cheese but I needed something with oomph (I was all out of salsa).
I’m glad I remembered that I had a bottle of Country Bob’s Original All Purpose Sauce in the fridge. It is an all-purpose sauce that adds just a little bit of a kick to your meal. The sauce by itself leaves a spicy little aftertaste in your mouth. I mixed it with cream cheese which toned down the volume and gave it a more tangy and sweet flavor. It was delicious. So here is my “recipe”:
- Honey Wheat Tortillas
- Cream Cheese
- Country Bob’s All Purpose Sauce
- Sharp Cheddar Cheese (Shredded)
- Fresh Spinach Leaves
Mix cream cheese, Country Bob’s All Purpose Sauce and cheddar cheese. Spread even amounts of the mixture onto the tortillas. Place spinach leaves on top. Roll up tortillas and chill in the refrigerator until ready to serve. Slice before serving.
Country Bob’s has tons of real recipes (rather than my made up concoctions) if I’ve whet your appetite for more. Country Bob’s will even send you a coupon for a free bottle of Country Bob’s Original All Purpose Sauce for you to try out for yourself.
