Not sure what to do this weekend? This Saturday, September 27th, is Museum Day 2008 at participating Smithsonian museums. Locate a museum and download an admission card (good for two free admissions) to get in on this great offer.

I had grand plans to take the kids to the San Diego Air and Space Museum (appropriate because Megan wants to be an astronaut when she grows up). That was until Adam and I decided to spend the weekend with his mom in Las Vegas. You will most likely find us in her pool instead. If it gets too hot then we might sneak off to visit the dinosaurs at the Las Vegas Natural History Museum.

It’s been over five years since I’ve been to Las Vegas and this will be Paul’s first time to Grammy’s house (unless you count in utero visits). I’m hoping to stop by one of my favorite spots - the Fountains of Bellagio. I heard a rumor that Grammy may watch the kids so that Adam and I can continue our weekly date night tradition.
