…but you can’t take Michigan out of the boy.
It was 81 degrees on Monday but Paul insisted on wearing his favorite camouflage turtleneck. Opening day of deer season is a big deal in Michigan – it is not uncommon for local businesses (and even some schools) throughout the state to take the day off. I have a feeling we’ll be seeing a lot less camouflage here in San Diego.

That is so sweet! What commitment!
I should mention that our family is not the hunting type but many of our friends were. Paul loves this shirt because an older playmate that he looked up to wore a similar shirt. I tried to warn Paul that it would be too hot but the turtleneck and long sleeves didn’t seem to bother him.
I can’t quite seem him . . . he blends in so well . . .
tee hee, that is very cute!
I found a cool blog of an American woman living in Kathmandu- her husband is a diplomat of some kind. Anyway, she told me that Elizabeth Mendies died this past week.
