Mother/Daughter SkirtSports Giveaway (Running Skirts)
I have great news for all you girls who love to run. You can feel good AND look good while you run. I’m not sure where I’ve been hiding because I didn’t know running skirts existed until last year when my mom showed me hers. Since then my interest has piqued. I just read her story about how she developed the skirt and it was so inspirational. To believe in something so deeply and do something about it…that is the power of a motivated woman!! The skirts look very feminine while still allowing you free movement..that’s what I like best!

I love that it has *pockets*. Silly, I know. But I can never find exercise shorts that fit well and have pockets, or skirts that have pockets period!

Well it’d be a walking & general usage skirt for me, but great idea! My favorite feature is that it’s a wicking material. Too many exercise pants are cotton and get soggy from sweat.

I want to win this for myself and my niece. I recently took up jogging. I started off walking, lost some weight, now I’m in the jogging phase of my fitness. My long baggy work out pants still make me feel overweight. I think these will help me feel better about myself.

I am entering this contest for my daughter. She is 4 years old and if you ask her what she wants to be when she grows up she says “A really fast runner!” She practices running like most kids practice drawing or shooting baskets. This little girl is all run and no walk, plus she is all skirts. She is usally running in her pink see-thru tutu! I like the uptown girl for it’s longer length. I like it because it is a longer athletic skirt; companies seem to not realize that some of us consider our legs personal property and not for public display. I would like the adult one for me, and the little one for my little niece.

My Mom decided to start running last year. Her goal was to run a half marathon by her 65th birthday. I am so proud of her…together we ran the Disney Half and the ING Half!! We are planning to run two more in 2009. She is so confident and proud about her body now that it is time to get her in a cute little running skirt.
