How Megan Really Feels
For a first grader Megan is adept at using the computer. Last week in computer lab her teacher introduced the class to word processing. When she got home from school Megan asked me if she could open up Word. I showed her how to begin a new document and where to format the font then I walked away. When I returned Megan proudly showed me this. I’ve always thought that Megan had a knack for writing. She loves to journal. (In her school the students are taught to journal in kindergarten.) I only pray that this is not the first draft of a tell-all memoir about her crazy family.

She has a great way of expressing herself! I adore the font she chose, I think it says a lot about her personality.
Amazing how far schooling has come.

What a hoot! Her prose is very sweet and honest. I think it will be so fun when my daughter reaches the “writing” stage.

Thanks, Megan has always been the writer in the family. She began “writing” stories when she was three. Her kindergarten journals gave her teachers and I something to chuckle about on a daily basis. We have joked that she should have her own blog. Now that she can “type” it might not be a bad idea!
