God vs. Mercury Ranger
On Friday Paul and I were clothes shopping. He commented that he wished we had all the money in the world to buy as many clothes as we wanted. At four years old he is beginning to understand the value of money. I told Paul that money is nice but it is not the most important thing in the world. I said that God was way more important than money. That led to a conversation about - God vs. Mercury Ranger. Paul, who aspires to be a Power Ranger when he grows up, has a hard time believing that God is more powerful than Mercury Ranger. Our conversation reminded me of the showdown between Elijah and the prophets of Baal. My prayer is that God takes first place in my life so that my children will know that God is most important - and that He is even more powerful than Mercury Ranger.
