Orange Glazed Blueberry Scones Recipe

113.jpgThe thing that I love about company is that I have an excuse to bake. It is good that we don’t have house guests too often or none of my clothes would fit. My family doesn’t need tons of sweets lying around and my kids don’t like half the things that I make so I need to find other victims to try out my culinary whims. Last week I was in the mood for blueberries. I love the internet because I can google an ingredient and find the perfect recipe in minutes. No need to search the pages of my countless cookbooks.

Tyler Florence of Food Network fame came to my rescue. Here is his recipe for Orange Glazed Blueberry Scones. These were easy to make and delicious. I’ll be making these again.

In case you didn’t notice, we were willing victims who didn’t feel at all victimized by your yummy treats (and soups!)! Thanks for testing all that out on us! :)

I’m always in the mood for blueberries! In fact, we just made blueberry muffins for breakfast this morning! Yum!

I would like to be a guest at your house! Just to let you know, Tyler Florence also has a recipe for “Summer Berry Cobbler” using the same scones recipe you used. Berries are wonderful!

Thanks for the tip about the “Summer Berry Cobbler.” I’m going to look it up. I have another yummy blueberry coffeecake recipe that I will post when I have a chance.

If you ever want the opinion of a different pallet, please by all means, email me. I can play “victim” very well :~)

Oh yum! Thanks for the recipe. BTW-I love that you have a ghetto Wal-Mart & a Hoochie-Mama Target too. Thanks for stopping by.
