Spring Break
Megan was home from school this past week for spring break. It was nice to have her home (and I liked sleeping in every morning!). It’s hard to believe that there are just ten weeks of school left in the year. Soccer will begin in one week and there are only six more weeks remaining until my baby turns seven!
On Monday I took Megan and Paul to see Horton Hears A Who. At the end of the movie I caught Paul dancing in his seat with a satisfied grin on his face. There were several fun moments in the movie. It was a bit cheesy at times but not over the top. On Wednesday we enjoyed a local rite of spring - ice cream cones at Dairy Queen. On Thursday the kids went to a birthday party. During the week the kids had a lot of down time in which they happily caught up on their Webkinz activities.
Adam and the youth group (those who hadn’t gone to Florida) got together during the week to write, direct and film this spring break movie.

What an awesome spring break
Thanks for the mini review of Horton- I’d been debating (I think it may be too much for my 4 year old, but I LOVE that book).
AND- the movie is great

I LOVE that video! Brings back memories of my youth group days. Boy, we did some crazy stuff!
I really loved Horton growing up - although we may wait until it comes out on DVD to watch it…
