I also plan to record myself reading some of the Megan and Paul’s favorite books. I agree that there is something special about listening to the voices and the noises in the room. Sometimes the visuals are distracting.

That’s a good idea. I love listening to the old tapes my mom make while we were in Brazil to send to my grandparents. I recorded Abbie singing & talking back in the day before our video camera, and although the camera is wonderful, there’s something more natural & relaxing about listening to the sound of their voice, without so much activity going on.
