I drop off my six year at school every day and release her to the care of her teachers. And a day doesn’t go by that I don’t realize the magnitude of trusting God to care for my daughter. Because of my relationship with Christ I don’t live in fear but I am aware of her vulnerability. In my experience, the situation with the teacher in this video is the exception to the rule. Watching the video makes me sad.

I watched this this morning. Isn’t it just terrible?! My oldest is in the 3rd grade, and for the first time, she has a *loser* teacher. My daughter was in tears last night because she and some of her classmates feel the teacher is “mean.” My daughter has always been a favorite amongst the teachers, and this one definitely is a little on the cool side with ALL the kids and parents. Makes you wonder why someone like that would choose teaching as a profession.
When Brandon was in second grade he had a teacher that was a yeller (I should say screamer). One day she pulled him in front of class and held his paper up in front of the entire class and told them that Brandon wrote like he was still in kindergarten. It may not seem much to an adult but it’s devastating to a second grader. It was one of the few times that I had to wait to go talk to someone for fear I might say things that was unacceptable for a Christian to say. Some people just shouldn’t teach, especially elementary school. Now having said that, 99.9% of my children’s teachers did a great job.
Good post… it really is a act of trusting the Lord… Our kids are so precious. I am thankful I know my daughter’s teacher is so precious.
