Next Time I’ll Put It On Vibrate

images.jpegMy cell phone rang today while I was sitting in church. Yup, right in the middle of the sermon. I’ve never bothered to change my setting to vibrate because I rarely get phone calls from anyone other than my husband who happens to be in church with me. The display said “private caller” which made me worry that perhaps a family member was in trouble. It turned out to be a friend (who had been at the earlier church service and should have known that I would be in church) just leaving a message. Argh!

Unfortunately this was not the first time I’ve made a scene in church. The last time was when I was barely three months pregnant with my daughter and I fainted. Rule #1 – Don’t faint in church. Rule #2 – Put cell phone on vibrate. Rule #3 – Stop sitting near the front where everyone can (a) see you faint or (b) hear your phone ring!

So does this mean that if I ever see you faint I can assume you are pregnant?

I’d never fainted before and I’ve never fainted since. Another sign is if I eat bacon every day for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
