Thanks for the recommendations. I just finished reading "The Goose Girl" by Shannon Hale. It was delightful and I loved her writing. I haven't had a chance to check out more of her work. "TGG" came out in 2003, so I am guessing "Austenland" is more recent. I will have to get it! I LOVE reading books and my husband is relieved that I have started using the library more! I read this before reading The Kite Runner and I have to say that I thought it was the better of the two books.
