One of my daily blog reads Rocks In My Dryer is hosting a haiku contest today. Adam, I must admit is much more creative at this sort of thing. He composed this in all of 2 minutes. (Thanks for playing along Adam!) Here is my entry submitted on his behalf:
Newsman says no school
Kids sleep in – parents make love
Newsman my hero!
I came up with this one based on this past week’s experience:
Wishing for snow days
Sleeping in ten minutes more
News is wrong…Late again!
**UPDATE** Alas, I was not chosen as a finalist but I had fun participating. On the bright side, school is cancelled for Monday.
