Are there enough yet?
Megan had a half day today thanks to parent teacher conferences. (She is doing great in school in case you wondered.) The kids have been asking me every day, "Are there enough yet?". What they mean is are there enough leaves to rake into an enormous pile to jump in? It seemed like there was no better time than today so this afternoon we raked up the entire front yard. The kids were actually cheering on the wind as leaves continued to fall all afternoon. Megan and Paul must have played argument free for at least three hours. I was forced to keep the pile of leaves which means that tonight they will all be scattered in the front yard again. Still, all the raking seemed worth it to capture these fall memories.
