Fall is in the Air
Today is one of those days that feels like fall. There was a chill in the air this morning and I’m wearing jeans where only two days ago I was sweating it out in shorts and a tank top. Fall is actually my favorite season so I’m not complaining. I’m not in a hurry to say goodbye to summer either but I can feel fall coming. I’ve been feeling it all week as I wake up early to jog and it just seems darker and I’ve noticed a slight bit more traffic in town as if more families are returning home from vacation. It is hard to believe that school starts in just three weeks! Here are a few other signs that fall is coming: peaches (yum!); an overbundance of fruits and veggies at the farm stands; a halloween aisle at Rite Aid (no kidding there really is); summer clearance sales; can’t buy a bathing suit anymore (unless it is on clearance and then you can’t find one in your size); mums on sale at Meijer; college students leaving this week; last year’s peach festival parade on channel 6.

does that mean it’s time to plant mums?
