Yuk
Has it really been a week that we have been back from vacation? Take me back to Florida! My house is full on unfinished projects and it is driving me crazy. I hate the color of the living room. Yuk. I think it is close to what I wanted but just slightly off. I still have to finish it even if I’m going to paint over it again. Somehow Adam’s Saturday project became my week project. I’m going to go back to Home Depot and try to find the right color this time. But if I can’t, then I will try to live with this color. My biggest problem is that instead of bringing everything together in the living room, it makes everything stick out like a sore thumb. Nothing matches: the couch, the drapes, the carpet. I have no clue how to accessorize. Adam has hinted at getting new furniture. I don’t think changing the color of the walls is justification for buying new furniture. However, we have had our couch an rocker since our second year of marriage. It is almost ten years old now. I wouldn’t mind replacing it with a comfy leather sofa, ottoman and arm chair. Mmmm.
